That is the whole ministry, in one sentence. The fees are not a distant bursary. They are a term paid, a family held, a uniform still worn.
At Mercy Schools–Makindye, Ssekitoleko Timothy holds his own page. Dear One Together, it begins. He thanks them for school fees and for pens. The end-of-term slip is in his other hand. The signature is a heart, and a flower he drew himself.
